Corpse molesting?? There's names for people like you.................... and don't let the gargoyles see you do it, they'll only join in! Talking of Wuthering Heights, did you see the latest version over the Bank Holiday? It was puzzling me where I'd seen the lead actor, Tom Hardy, before, until it came to me that he was in the last Star Trek film as Shinzan, Picard's evil clone!
No, I skipped that one as soon as I saw that it was adapted by the bloke who "wrote" the Desperate Romantics series. He seems to be the new Andrew Davies, but not in a good way.
Also, weirdly, it wasn't networked on ITV in Scotland, which seems a bit unfair. (They deserve to suffer, too, y'know.)
Edit: And thank you for the Bertrand Russell piece!
Well, put it this way: Given how the publishing industry is on its uppers right now, the best you can hope for when this...mockery edition appears in UK bookstores is that they remember to insert a 'u' in "favorite".

"You damned kids, get off my la...oh, hang on a minute. Here, read this book. As you can see, it's recommended by some fictitious vampire characters about your age, so it must be good, right?"
And people wonder why we're short of teachers in this country...
