Steven Hodson's wheels have finally come off, and in a highly amusing way.

Jan 18, 2009 10:18

With an underlying theme of having a bit of a sore bottom, and just a whisper of intellectual property theft, young Mister Hodson has finally blown his cover of sanity by suggesting that blogging is a 'profession':

"So to all you new bloggers and those working their way up the ranks the next time you think you have an original idea or thought don’t hesitate to write it down in a post because that is why you are in this profession after all." - http://www.inquisitr.com/15618/i-guess-an-idea-is-only-good-if-some-big-name-says-it/

Bless 'im.

If it wasn't a Sunday, I'd urge you all to write supportive comments on his post, reassuring him to the effect that yes, blogging is indeed the world's newest profession, and girls don't half have it tough out there on the streets Information Superhighway. But, alas, it is a Sunday, so people in this 'profession' have their attention focused upon matters of greater import. Like...the weather:

Make up your own jokes about Pinkicecubes' spelling of Bluewater (http://www.bluewater.co.uk), and Hodson's collaborator on The Inquisitr, Duncan Riley, not fact-checking his John Mortimer obit (http://www.inquisitr.com/15505/vale-john-mortimer-1923-2009/ - the Rumpole of the Bailey TV series wasn't a BBC production, it was made by ITV, although the Beeb produced the Radio 4 version). I've got some distinctly unprofessional things to do elsewhere...
