He lost the case. You can stop kicking the underdog now, Colin.

Fortunately, I read The Guardian's coverage (http://www.guardian.co.uk/film/2008/nov/12/uwe-boll-breach-of-contract) of the case before I got to Colin Boyd's overheated account:

"The big question here is, what the hell is wrong with Fantastic Films in the first place? You actually got into be[d] with Uwe Boll? The director whose output includes six of IMDB's 100 worst films ever made? The director who has never turned a profit in the United States, even though he's made over a dozen films? I mean, I'm glad they got their money back and all, but it's a bit like buying a used car near the airport, isn't it?

About the only way this story could've been any better is if Uwe demanded that Roxane Barbat fought him in a boxing ring, since that's the way he likes to deal with conflict, predictably. I'll take him being bankrupted, though. That suits me just fine."

Nasty.

For one thing, and ignoring the presumed deification of the IMDb, the United States is not the only global market for these, or any other films.

Secondly, if someone is forcing Colin Boyd to watch any of Herr Doktor Uwe Boll's movies, they really ought to stop. Not only is it downright cruel, it's clearly having a negative effect on Colin's temperament.

Thirdly...this is the second time this year I've felt a bit sorry for Boll. Perhaps there's some sinister hypnotic device concealed within the text of BloodRayne II Deliverance, because I quite enjoyed that.

Oh dear.
