deviantART is an online artistic community that I dislike. I dislike it because of it's popularity and copyright violation. The site consists of over 2 million users and over 25 million submissions as of September, 2006. 2 Million! Crud! That is too much! I am jealous of those 2 million people because they have a user account and not me, so they make me look very dependant and amateur and it sucks, and my parents are very strict and don't allow me to post on sites like that, as they are concerned for my safety and I understand them. I want to be more popular, more well-liked, and much better then those people.
Outside the legal issues involved in posting art, the immense popularity of the site has made it an easy target for copyright violation, as a malicious user can easily re-use artwork displayed on deviantART (usually as clip art for websites) without the creator's knowledge. This is illegal, and just so wrong!
Also, deviantART has very upsetting fan arts, such as the crossover fanart of Shadow the Hedgehog cosplaying as a character from the Kingdom Hearts series, for example. My favorite video game franchise (Sonic) should never be crossed over with my pet peeves. It hurts my feelings.
I really hate deviantART and it needs to be erased from existance! It's better if you had your own, personal sites somewhere else instead! People eventually find you anyway, through a search engine, such as Yahoo! or Google.
I hope deviantART gets deleted off the world wide web! Death to deviantART! Ha ha! I hope the site dies and no longer exists! I swear, no more deviantART users! Enough is enough! the site is grossly overrated.
As you have been wandering why I look at all this stuff that I like and don't like and so forth, it's my job to gain knowledge in the world, I'm on a quest for knowledge and I hope to become the smartest person on the whole Internet! Everyone likes to be smart!
