A long day of printing. Not mine, though, so all I did was assist a bit with the inking and feeding. I did get a bunch of paper cut to the right size for one of my own projects, and sewed a couple of blank text blocks for making tiny sample books. There is a certain sameness in my routine these days, especially since I haven't taken a day off all week.
I wish the school building didn't close so early in the summer. We could have finished all the printing that needed to be done, if we could have only stayed another half-hour. In theory, I could be going there earlier in the day: the building opens at 6:30 a.m. But what art student on earth does anything at 6:30 in the morning, during summer vacation? I don't get there that early even when classes are in session (though I may be grudgingly awake).
I've been reading, also, about ever more complicated kinds of decorative spine-sewing. I have way too many projects rattling around my brain lately.
