Edition binding

Wooo, I've bound another six copies of Alphaplasty, so now I have eight finished ones. Man, they seem to go incredibly slowly. These six copies have taken at least a week of fiddling with one or two steps of the process every night. Well, maybe not every night. I could probably finish a batch in half a week if I kept at it more diligently. One of these days when I'm not sorting type, I should spend a couple of hours cutting out big stacks of cover boards and strips of book cloth and such.

The type-sorting is reaching a stage where it's probably time to set and print a bunch of samples. I'm nearly to the end of the first cabinet, and it would be good to have it all properly labeled with examples of everything, so it's easier to find what you want by looking at the cases, instead of digging through sample books. And of course, it would be nice to have some up-to-date sample books as well. And printed samples of all the ink colors we have. And then there are the ornaments.

It seems like no matter how much stuff I get done, it all just makes me think of more things to add to my list. It's an exponential process. Where's my evil twin, when I could use some help?
