This afternoon we installed our
typography exhibit. It looks like it's going to be a success, which is very reassuring, since I had been quite stressed out and worried about it for various reasons. It's definitely not the exhibit that would have happened had I been in sole charge of the design, but it's an effective use of the space, and I'm happy with it.
I still need to make a little box to put the brochures in, then print, fold and staple enough copies of said brochure that it will look like it's on purpose. That needs to happen by Wednesday, which shouldn't be a problem.
There are
more pictures on Flickr.
I am, predictably, completely exhausted now. I was up until at least 2:00 last night writing brochure copy, woke up at 7:00 to get to my morning class, took a twenty minute break for lunch, then spent eight solid hours doing the installation. Fortunately, that kind of stupidly long day is something I've been doing twice a week since the beginning of the semester, so one more this week isn't that big a deal.
But I'm going to be incredibly glad when the semester is over, and I can rest.
