The color of infinity
I'm sure everyone on the internet has known about this forever, but it's new to me. I've had the song "Experimental Film" stuck in my head for a couple of days now, and I finally Googled it and found out that the Homestar Runner people made a video of the thing. That's not a surprise, because I knew They Might Be Giants had worked with the Homestar site before, with puppets or something.
But the point of all this is that they've done something horrible to Mr. Velocipede, and in this video there's this sort of tentacled skull riding around on a velocipede in a couple of scenes. In one segment there's even a spectrum in the background, so it connects to PolyChroma as well. I'm finding these coincidences bizarre.
It looks almost exactly like the velocipede I scribble on things (it's my tag, yo), but of course what else would a crude stick-figure velocipede look like? Is this veloci-creature a regular character, or does it only appear in this one video? I haven't watched any Homestar in at least a year, and I don't remember it from any of the earlier stuff.
Also! Putting garam masala into the ginger cookies was a good idea. (This is purely a reference for my Future Self.)
