Now I remember why I stopped writing code

I was going to write about how going to art galleries is less interesting than eating Ethiopian food, and how there was a good rainbow, and how baths are nice, and then I was going to link to a page of Oz fractals, only now my PHP is giving me errors like "Parse error: parse error, unexpected T_CONSTANT_ENCAPSED_STRING in /home2/polychro/public_html/fractals/oz.php on line 1," and I'm tired and don't want to spend half the night trying to figure out why the page works perfectly on my local Windows box, but refuses to function when uploaded.

Line 1 looks like this:

So I'm pretty sure that's not where the error really is.

I suspect the server is running a newer version of PHP, but I still can't figure out what's going on with my code. My old pages all still seem to work, and the new one isn't significantly different, so it is mysterious.

Bah.

geekery, stigecraft
