Title: Being Alice
Rating: PG-13/R
Summary: Aziraphale makes a change. Crowley decides turnabout is fair play.
Author's Notes: Written for the "genderless" prompt. I'll say very little other than I think I did quite the opposite. Credit to lady_of_water for her prodding, and hjbender for the use of Alice. Queen's Good Old-Fashioned Lover Boy shamelessly ( Read more... )

EeEEeeEe! So utterly lovely! And Good Old-Fashioned Lover Boy! And gender-bendering (I dunno why, but when I think of Alice I think of Mrs. Doubtfire... which leads me to think that perhaps Robin Williams might have been a good choice for Azi...)!

*is incoherently happy now*

Thank you. ^^

(Mrs. Doubtfire was the image in my head, but I couldn't articulate at all.)

Tweed skirt! Ha! *loves this* Mmmm, genderbending. And did I read it wrong, or was Crowley vaguely disappointed to find out that Alice hadn't kept all her previous... equipment? :P

Vaguely? *grins*

I think it was more shock - as in, Hey, why did you go about doing *that*? - but there was disappointment, yes. Crowley's a lesbian at heart, you know.

Very nice, "Secret" Author. I definitely enjoyed reading this. (Even though what little reputation of a sane person I had has definitely disappeared after I laughed out loud here in the school lounge.)

Just one thing -- you seemed to mess up "he" and "she" in some places, even referring to the same person as both male and female in the same sentence. Like,

she trailed fingertips along Aziraphale’s face, which was trying to glare at him

Other than that? I loved it. ^_^

Ahaha. I am so glad those (multiple times, I see them now) were the only mistakes. I had such trouble remembering which is which at one point.

Thank you. :)

This was really cool, worked well.

And I love the RENT reference, man that song is funny. Roger is such a dork.

I couldn't help the RENT reference, it's now ingrained into my brain. I am never going to stop singing La Vie Boheme, ever, although I'm not sure I even want to stop.
