a watermelon fountain you're glad not to have seen

My manic insomnia last night really wore me down today. I honestly don't know why I was too happy to sleep, but all of a sudden I was totally manic, and happy, and pumped! It was kind of awesome and I would have totally enjoyed it more if I did not have to wake up early for work. Blah. But again today ... it was sooo beautiful out. Oh my god. It's a terrible teaser of the spring, especially seeing as it's supposed to flurry this weekend at some point. I'll just keep the heat on in my car like i have been. Oh yes, nice outside, even nicer in my car. Like Key West or something. Hahaha.

I just found out last night too that Daryl Palumbo (Glassjaw/Head Automatica) is gonna be at BAR, a bar in Plains. I near flipped out. $3 fucking cover and some other headliners as well but he's the numero uno headliner. This shit is gonna be awesome. Hopefully just as awesome at Rob Zombie on Friday. I am stoked! I got the day off and everything! And my friends in the band Go Go Gadjet are gonna be playing at Tink's which is a few blocks down the street so maybe, if I'm wired enough, I'll go there afterwards. Sweeeeet.

I visited my good friend in the hospital right after work. She got her gallbladder out. It's apparently been the cause of her recent internal issues, so we're all hoping this fixes everything. As i was pulling into the parking garage, I saw her sister, also a good friend, so she waited for me (thankgod) So up in the room, I can't remember what Jen said, but Kimmie started making this puffed out gesture (a la Missy Elliot "The Rain" video), so I reminded her of the song and we both were cracking up in the room. I felt bad for making Jen laugh, but it was so funny. She called her mother to bring her some things on the way, and we were told to stay there until she got there. Sure, no problem. Until Jen started getting nauseous. That was my cue to leave the room. I can take the sight of a lot of things, but puking isn't one of them. Might be one of the only things I can't watch, or hear for that matter. Nuh-uh.... When her mom arrived, she had pictures the doctors took of her gallblader. Haha, Kimmie was getting queasy of the inside photos, but we were all in awe of the outside photos. Her mom said it, and we had to see for ourselves ... that her gallbladder infact had a leopard print look on it. It was crazy! Haha. Yeah so, as of now Kimmie and I are going as Missy Elliot for Halloween. We're not sure where we are going to find the glasses though, hmm...
