Holy Major Appliace Purchase
Well, ok ... I didn't buy a washing machine or anything like that, but I did - FINALLY - buy
an Air Conditioner!
It took 4 trips.
One to Big Lots in Wilkes-Barre
one to Wal-Mart in Wilkes-Barre
one to Big Lots in Luzerne
one to Wal-Mart in Pittston.
I walk into the W-mart in Pittston and not right after that first aisle ends did I see A/C's for sale ... reconditioned and returned, I suppose. With tax, I got a not brand new GE A/C for $95.00.
So happy.
And while I was at the Wilkes-Barre W-mart, I got a call back (it's about time!!) from the new design company in Dallas about a graphic design position. I'm gonna be scheduled sometime next week.
$12-15/hr, with benefits and ... profit sharing? (Damn)
My day pretty much sucked until I forced myself out to buy a much needed A/C.
I had halucinatory nightmares last night because I was so hot and I couldn't sleep. I was seeing shit in my room, and halucinating, and just plain freaking out.
Glad that's over with.
