June!
It's June, and it's fantastic. [So far?]
News, jokes, road/bus trips, concerts, birthdays, lessons, work, etc.
Blah blah blah.
The promotion at work is going slow, but it's progressing at a noticeable rate, and that's fine. I'm going to Philly at the end of the month, and I AM STOKED!!! Either Wed-Fri, or Thurs-Sat (would prefer the latter, since then I get to attend two concerts rather then one.) I am going to Philly to see Ryan Adams LIVE (livelivelive, hahaha) I almost didn't get tickets to see him, and I was like half a straw away from just crying at work this past Friday (not today) but Ebay saved the day (praised be.)
The other concert is back here in the area at the Toyota Pavillion, to see Stevie Nicks. I saw her already, per se, in Fleetwood Mac back in May of 03, so if I don't get to see her it's not a total loss. I've never got to see Ryan Adams and although he's not up there with Ms Nicks in "god like status" he's still pretty damn important in my (music) book. I would however practically stop time to see Lindsey Buckingham. His music is indescribable, honestly. (I'm specifically referring to his album "Go Insane", but his newest "Under the Skin" is really good, too.)
Lauren's birthday party is the Tuesday before Ryan's concert (her real birthday is the day of), and I kind of promised (coff*undertheinfluence*coff) that I would sing "Don't Go Breakin My Heart" with her. Shit. :P Haha. Oh well.
So much in one month, it's almost unbelievable.
OH!!
And we had the worst heat wave in one day I have ever seen.
95+ degrees until 10pm, where it decreased by 10 degrees, and then for almost 2 hours, we got hit with a doozy of thunder storm, so much so that:
1. the lightening turned the sky a sea green color a few times
2. the power went out from about 10:15 to midnight
I am kind of worried about work, and how the machines survived, IF they did. (I guess I was promoted to Supervisor for a reason. :P Heh.) But I shouldn't worry too much, it'll take all the fun out of tomorrow. (Get to leave early!) House warming Karaoke party a-calls me.
