Oh man was yesterday phenomenal. Some friends and I went to Hershey Park for Verizon's Family and Friends Day (and there were quite a LOT of family and friends) But still, the longest we had to wait I think was maybe 20 minutes for most rides. (Sweet!)
We got there in half the time it normally takes one to drive there all in part to going 100 mph for pretty much the entire trip down I-81 (Sweet!) Haha. Nila didn't think I noticed, but being in the backseat rather then the passenger seat, I saw all! ^_^ Hey, the quicker we get there, the quicker we can get on rides - and it's all about quick for us. We got to go on all of the roller coasters except the SooperDooperLooper since we ran out of time, but no big deal. It's probably my least favorite coaster.
But STORM RUNNER is the BOMB. Holy jeezus. You pull out of the loading area and wait for a couple seconds until you're WHOOSED into action. Straight up, then weightlessness, and then straight down, no lie. Favorite fucking ride.
Second favorite, despite scaring the complete shit out of me (which is totally Sweet anyways) is the Wild Mouse. I promised that this time I wouldn't scream and yell "Close your eyes, we're gonna die!" And I didn't ... I did, however, get spit on, in total movie-like slow motion. Too unreal and extremely hilarious. That was inadvertent(?) payback for my hair practically choking Nila on the Flying Falcon (whoops!) Everytime she'd try and go "Woo!" she'd get a mouthful of hair, haha.
My leg was positively screaming in pain though at the end of the day. I could not even walk anymore, I was shuffling it along on the ground. And to note, pain does not in any circumstance make me cry or even want to cry. I almost started to cry by the time I got back into Nila's car. It hurt that bad. Fucking shin spints.
Oooh, but they had Skee-Ball there, too! I haven't played that in like 10 years. I kinda did suck at it, like most other things I haven't done in years, but it was definitely fun. Haha some black kid asked me if I needed help. I was like "uh... no, that's ok."
(Another back dude wanted to ride with Nila on the Sidewinder, weird.)
We didn't go on the Chocolate World ride, but I (obviously) didn't mind. It's apparently some "fucked up haunted house" for me, due to my chocolate allergies, haha. Plus, it gave us more time to go on the extreme rides. Like The Whip, and Music Express. ;)
So, one amusement park down and 2 to go- possibly 3 if we include Great Adventure.
And it's not even summer yet! ^_^
