B&N, hear my rant
So I vented my frustrations a little on Myspace yesterday about how Borders is cheaper but so much further away that B&N (Borders is about 30 minutes away on the highway, and B&N is no more than 10 minutes on the main roads.) Fast forward to today ... I get an email from B&N with a 15% off coupon. Yay! I will be buying Portishead's new album later today, fo'sho. (Update: I apparently missed all the places where it said it was not available to buy yet. Damnit.) I am so liking it. It's all over the place. I think 'Hunter' is still my favorite track, so far.
Depending on whether or not the father is home when I get home, I am going to ask him to get my sister's old, but hopefully still working, mountain bike from the high bike racks in the garage. This exercising I am doing now is really working. I can see and feel a noticeable difference in my tummy. ^_^ Now I've got to work on the other problematic area. :P I am determined to slim down for Hawaii. Not because I am at all vain (haha, no really I'm not) but because a lot of my pants fit me so snug (thank you, ass) and I'm sure if my jeans do, my shorts will too.
And I pose a question:
Can anyone confirm that grapefruits actually help lose weight? I am not about to go on that strict grapefruit diet, but if they do help, I may start eating them here and there.
