I don't condone it. And I'm not going to do it if I don't have to. But if it comes down to the wire, then you have to do what you have to do to protect people, and people are more important than lambs, no matter how bad you feel afterward. It's nothing compared to a -

I think everyone should expect the deities to trick us or screw us over somehow. It's just hard to figure out if they'll do it by turning it into a joke or by actually going through with the cliche.

Perhaps only those who kill the lambs and spread the blood will die. Perhaps the lambs aren't lambs at all; perhaps we're missing a few hundred citizens. We haven't exactly been walking the streets, with the rest of it.
