Pakistan is a nuclear power.
Pakistan is an Islamic nation.
Pakistan has a large number of Islamic extremists with growing military and political power.
Pakistani scientists have already worked to spread nucler technology in the middle East.

Add...
Pakistan is the sworn enemy of India.
The US has been strongly courting India as an ally in the area.
US personnel and weapons technology have targeted areas in Pakistan without requesting or against the permission of the Pakistani government.

Don't these things ever start to add up?

There are other items to be added before you add up.

Pakistan is a poverty stricken nation, giving them bread and education not guns would make them more resistant to Islamic extremists.

Pakistan is not the sworn enemy of India, Kashmire causes the strife between em, has existed since Pakistan was created.

The US has poured dollars into both countries but american support for the dictator Musharaf has created a widespread anti americanism which is to the advantage of extremists.YOU REAP WHAT YOU SOW but it wont be nuclear, no nuclear nation is beyond retaliation and everyone knows that.
