This kind of thing... this kind of thing, no matter how you look at it... isn't it unreasonable?
People who lock themselves in glass castles, so they can be seen a lot and heard a lot, and maybe look prettier, if the glass is coloured nicely - for all of that, it's not an ivory, is it? Watching someone without letting him in, never making friends like that... Hikaru, Kaoru... is this what your very own world must feel like? It could always crumble, you know. Someone like Haruhi... I wish there were someone like Haruhi for anyone who only has one other person's hand to hold.
Not to be rude, but Fairy Godmothers, aren't really that nice, are they? Cinderella's glass slippers must have been pretty, but everyone else thought they liked them too, and then her sisters, well... her sisters cut their feet so they'd fit in all the glass, didn't they?
Cutting people to fit such a small world won't do it. Please forgive me, but if you'll say otherwise, you'll be the one who's too young and inexperienced. Maybe it takes time, waiting for the right person that you can let into your private universe... but saying no from the beginning is just too cruel.
