Being the Twenty-Eighth Entry (what is this madness)

Feb 22, 2009 16:16

I hardly believe I'm about to admit this, but...

It seems a bit too quiet around here now that Keiichi has returned home. And Tamaki...

Perhaps a little chaos every now and then isn't nearly as bad as I thought.

That is, when the chaos spares my furniture. And the rest of the interior decoration. I will continue to keep an eye on you, Mokona.

kind of bored, what is my life, g damn god of death, in the mood to shoot stuff, so wrong, kind of antsy

I think you're right, it's eerily quiet. I guess you really don't know how much you appreciate a person til they're not there anymore, even if he was a little reckless.

[Shibusen Filter]

I think...there are things you should know Kid, about what is happening at home.

Yes, my thoughts exactly.

...Tell me.

Well, I know you'll relay what you think is necessary to Liz and Patty, so...

It's not...looking good. The insanity is spreading, it's growing stronger.

Yes, of course.

Has it affected the students?

I don't how prepared we can be, but it's better to try.

I couldn't say for certain, I was outside the castle, it was just after...a battle, I was rather shaken. Before they pulled me back here though...I felt it. So did Sid-sensei, Nigus, all the forces in the grounds. It was inside our heads, and just...it was like this painful pulsing inside my mind that I couldn't ignore.

It was only a matter of time, I suppose. Asura has been free long enough...too long. And it will get worse.

Does Stein know?

Yes, from what I felt it was strong, I even think some of the Shibusen forces were struggling with the feeling of the insanity in their minds. I can't declare certainties though. It all happened happened quickly, and before I knew it, the pain was replaced with the sound of the ticking, and I knew I was back.I also fear I was distracted by everything else that just happened...

Not that I'm aware of, I've tried to be discreet. It's hard to say what kind of effect this will have on him.

Tell me what happened, exactly, if you would. Or what you remember, at least. I'd rather know everything.

Good. He is more susceptible than most.

I don't know how relevant any of this really is, I was only back for an hour or so, maybe less...

We, Black☆Star and I fought Mifine, the samurai who guards the witch Angela. Black☆Star has managed to gain about full control of the Fey Blade mode, so we were successful. Mifune was defeated, and damage done the castle from the blow. Black☆Star was in a mess, I don't think he could stand anymore, and Mifune...he just evaporated into the air.

After that, the pain started. All troops on both side were clutching their heads in agony. it was such a strange sensation like...it's a bit fuzzy, I can't be sure if I'm being accurate.

Yes, I guess we best be careful, not knowing how'd he'd take it, or what questions he would ask.

Mifune evaporated? What does that- I wish Father were here.

Thank you, Tsubaki. I...have a lot to think about.

I know, he wanted to get the castle, he was saying he was sorry to Angela, I was trying to help him over and, he vanished, not a trace of his anywhere, he was gone. I don't understand it, but well, I suppose he wouldn't have lived since the finishing blow we dealt was so severe.

You're welcome. I'm sorry I had to bring such news to you. Will you be alright?

These things happen. He was an enemy, after all. You did what you had to.

I'll be fine. It isn't as if I'd be able to help even if I were to go back now.

Only by judging by the side he was on, not his personality. On the occasions we saw him...he had no interest in the Kishin or anything else. His only wish was to protect Angela. I think...he just loved children. He would have made a good teacher.

If you're sure. I'll let you know if I recall anything else.

Um, would it be okay if I dropped by the apartment at some point?

We're in the middle of a war. Whether it is deserved or not, people are often defined by which side they fall into.

I appreciate it.

Of course. I think we're going to the amusement park later, if you'd like to join us.

I suppose you're right. Maybe I'm just too personally involved, I apologise for speaking out of turn. I should know better, being the one who has to defeat my own brother.

I'll do my best to remember.

Oh, I wouldn't want to impose. I just thought to drop off some of the chocolate that was made before I left, since I can eat it by myself. There's some sweet buns here as well I think.

You weren't speaking out of turn. I was just making an observation. And you wouldn't be imposing, Tsubaki.
