Being the Twenty-First Entry (Voice; The desire to die keeps rising)

Nov 19, 2008 15:32

Seventy-three itchy, ugly red dots on one arm.

Sixty-five on the other.

Right leg, twelve clusters. Left leg, nine.

The world is out to get me. I am destined to be asymmetrical for the rest of my pitiful existence. Why was I ever born to begin with?

the world is an ugly place indeed, wants to die, g damn god of death, where are you symmetry, take him out with the trash, doom and gloom, infernal itching

Oh...I came down with that once as a child. I remember it being rather unpleasant.

It's far more than 'rather unpleasant,' Autor. I have an uneven number of sores. An uneven number. And they itch. I have never felt so disgusting and worthless in my entire life.

Ahhh, your symmetry obsession...have you tried drawing additional sores to have an even number?

And you know not to scratch it, right?

I need to find a red marker. I only have black.

Yes, I know.

I know where an art supply store is. Would you like me to find you a red marker?

Good. I'm sure asymmetrical scars on your skin wouldn't be very pleasant for you or anyone around you.

...Yes, actually.

Scars. Let's not discuss scars. Let's not even think of scars.

Alright. I'll go out and get you a few different colors so you have a choice and bring them by your apartment.

I've never even heard of the word scars.

...A rather juvenile approach, but it works.

You're welcome.

...Tch. Don't call me juvenile. I get called "boy" enough.

I wasn't calling you juvenile, Autor.
