Being the Twenty-First Entry (Voice; The desire to die keeps rising)

Nov 19, 2008 15:32

Seventy-three itchy, ugly red dots on one arm.

Sixty-five on the other.

Right leg, twelve clusters. Left leg, nine.

The world is out to get me. I am destined to be asymmetrical for the rest of my pitiful existence. Why was I ever born to begin with?

the world is an ugly place indeed, wants to die, g damn god of death, where are you symmetry, take him out with the trash, doom and gloom, infernal itching

...You actually counted them?

Of course I counted them!

What for? I don't see why anyone would want to.

I had to know for certain.

Why? It sounds kind of pointless to me.

Were you were counting out of boredom or something?

I was counting because they are there, in plain sight!

Well of course they would be there, since it is a part of having chicken pox.

You did ask why I counted.

That's true.

But it just sounded strange to me since that's not something someone would normally do if they did have it, that's all.

Was it really that important?

anti_asymmetry November 19 2008, 23:42:43 UTC
Yes, it was really that important. It looked asymmetrical, but I needed to be sure.

Asymmetrical? And that's a bad thing?

Asymmetry is repulsive.

It is? Why do you think that?

Reply

anti_asymmetry November 20 2008, 00:06:54 UTC
Because it is the exact opposite of symmetry, and there is nothing more perfect than symmetry.

guardianjoker November 20 2008, 05:45:49 UTC
I guess that makes sense...but if you like symmetry so much, how come you're asymmetric?
