For as much as SWSNBN badmouths you (for your alleged relationship with her 'Dai-Dai'), you two aren't much different (except maybe for the "modeling" bit and actually having some semblance of literacy). I thought you might have been generous enough to use your apparent "connections" for the betterment of the fandom, but like most seeking some way to be "unique" - You prefer things as they are, for in the event the price barrier on a band's albums is lowered and they find their way onto the shelves of American stores, the "n00bs" gain access to your bands and their "specialness" fades. For now, your smug clique built around the price hurdle is safe, but it will not last forever. U.S. distribution will increase and elitism in the fandom will subside. You can abandon the bands you 'love' in an effort to save your precious rep as soon as undesirables or members of a rival fandom start liking them, or you can stick with them and support their desires to expand their fanbase and maybe even try to help the process along a little, like ( ... )
