“Jim! What’s with you taking next week off?”
Damn it, Miles.
“Since when do I gotta explain myself to you?” James glares at him as he picks up his uneaten sandwich and takes a bite. “Don’t a man got a right to some damn privacy?”
“You haven’t taken a vacation since we’ve been partners. C’mon man, where you going?”
Miles could always spot his lies, but he sure as hell isn’t gonna get this one outta him.
