I really enjoyed this! It's a pairing I never thought of, but I like the idea of it. I like the idea that Dogen would share his emotions with someone not long after arriving, but then, knowing what he had to do, send her away for his own good and the good of his people.

^___^ I was so scared when I first wrote this, because I had no idea how he'd react to all this. But then again, we barely know the character aside from the brief glimpses we get during Season 6. Thanks for reading, really glad you liked it! :D

This is great! I love Ilana, and seeing her interact with different people makes me very, very happy, as does getting a bit of her backstory. And it would never have occurred to me to imagine her with Dogen! Very clever and well-written, thank you so much for this.

^___^ Glad you like. Can't say it's something I'd really ever do again (heh, at least not the Lennon/Ilana bit, that was...Painful, but I had to do it) but it was a fun experience. I had this plot bunny in my head for a few days now and I was glad to see that you posted something that I could apply the inner-conflict of Ilana to, as well as that ship. Again, thanks for reading, really appreciate it! :D
