Medical Anthropology

Hello everyone, some of you probably have seen me here before, others have not. I'm looking today for ideas/help. My mentor, who is also the head of anthropology at York College of Pa, has given me the project of writing a class on Medical Anthropology for the spring 2007 semester. This coming semester I am researching and writing the class and then in spring I will be teaching it (with his help) as an undergrad. He has discovered that with me this is the best way for me to learn as much as possible about a subject. Last semester I assisted in teaching an Advanced Physical Anthro course. My focus in Anthropology is Physical/Forensic Anthropology (walking in his footsteps so to speak) and I am (not just planning I WILL do it) going straight through until I have my PhD. So, anyone who would like to give me input, throw ideas at me (or throw other things I'm flexible), or wish to discuss anything with me either reply here or email me at swalters@ycp.edu. I know (from watching him and from discussions here) that I am going to teach somewhere as well as do research and work forensic cases so this is a great way for me to get experience.

Thanks in advance
Scott.
