i think that was actually implied by what was said. since "when there are more boys than girls" would imply an inequality, so only when there is an inequality will there be cause to worry.

So advocating the systemic alienation and exclusion and outright sexist modern theories makes up or ameliorates anything done to women in the past? That's revenge not equal opportunity. What galls me about this line of argument is that it assumes that since laws were passed a mere 30-40 years ago that everything should be completely integrated and fine now. It takes time to truly change but only a short time to enforce cosmetic changes without truly equalizing the playing field. I prefer the long term solution rather than short term social spackle.
