That's sad.

Strangely enough, Hinduism is the only religion that has a case of ployandry in it- with < a href="http://www.kamat.com/kalranga/mythology/mahabharat/draupadi.htm">Draupadi from the Mahabarata, who had five husbands.

Eh? I'm talking about religious mythology. Hinduism is the only major religion to have an example of it.

Unless ofcourse you're considering Buddhism as an offshoot of Hinduism.

of course, from what Ive understood both Hindu and Buddhist dieties tend to be rather androgynous.

Oh the mythology I'm refering to- The Mahabhrata (the longest epic in the world)- of Draupadi and her five husbands (yes, fraternal polyandry)involves humans, rather than godly beings. The only god who plays a major role in the tale is Krishna.
