Anthropology degree not worth it?
Hi, I am wondering if anyone knows anything about anthropology degrees.
I will be starting college next year, and I want to major in Japanese studies and either double major or minor in anthropology.
With that said, I have heard from many people and places that anthropology degrees are not very useful and a degree in something like international studies would be better.
For me, it's not about the money... I know I could make more money with the Japanese/internation studies combination.
However, I really enjoy anthropology, and I would much rather go in that direction, unless the degree is completely useless...
Does anyone have any imput or advice? I'd really appreciate it.
