Looking for Career Advice
Hi,
I am very interested in making a career switch to anthropology, but feel I don't have enough info about the field once you get out of school. I currently have a BS in Business (International Business & Econ, Spanish major) & do marketing for a good company. Does anyone have any recommendations for answers to the following questions:
1. Do you need to take the GMAT or some other standardized test to be accepted in Masters programs in anthropology?
2. Will I need a Phd?
3. Are there many career opportunities beyond teaching?
4. How realistic is to travel globally & really get to explore cultures?
I'm very interested in hearing about your impressions& experiences in the field so far and what you didn't expect, like/dislike, what you would keep/change, etc. Thank you kindly in advance for any advice or information you can offer me.
