Anthropology and Film
I was reading the last post and I was wondering if anyone here has made the move from anthropology to film. Did you get another degree? Did you just somehow get involved with the film community?
It is one of those after college prospects that I actually would not mind at all. I think film is a great tool for transmitting knowledge and creating social awareness. I am also this close (holds index finger and thumb about half an inch apart) to getting an internship working on a documentary. I applied to it without really intending to get it, I though I might as well, after emailing my resume to over a dozen places one more couldn't hurt.
