Slut or Stud?

The greatest insult known to girl or woman in the English language, right up there with the "N" word. I am sure in the coming years both, or their synonyms, will be banned from rap music, talk shows, and even print. Call somebody a 'slut' and the fate of Imus will pale next to the wrath of public censure. We will be resorted to calling women of lose morals 'tarts' in the near future. Instead of 'nappy headed hos,' the Rutgers' basketball team will be dubbed the 'nappy headed tarts.'

Doesn't have quite the same punch, does it?

My question for today is, can men be sluts? I know this question has been debated before and usually, the standard reply is, a guy who has sexual experience with multiple partners is a stud. He is respected, admired and lauded by men and women alike.

I beg to disagree. There is something slightly repugnant about a man who sleeps around. He doesn't appear studly, but on the contrary, unselective. I mean, the world is full of desperate females, most of them looking to get lucky. A man, unless he is severely handicapped in the looks, manners or IQ department, should not be flattered just because a woman sits on your lap. Much less if she goes to bed with you. On the first date. And particularly if she is married.

Women, and from my observations married women in particular, are easy, but must men be as well?
