Okay, technically I am on facebook, but not by choice.
I had to create a facebook account in order to be one of the admins for the museum's page.
I am not planning on posting to facebook much or really using it, but if you want to friend me there, feel free.
However, if it is something important, PLEASE, PLEASE call or email me. I do want to hear from friends. LJ is also good, but I only check it every other day when the semester is crazy. So, if it is urgent please call or email me (or doubleplus ).
BUT
If you are on Facebook, if you could do me a favor and please become a fan of Alexandria Archaeology.
It would help convince the higher ups that social media sites are useful for museums
AND
you can find out about upcoming events
AND
even if you don't live the D.C. area you can learn about neat stuff happening with history and archaeology in the Washington, D.C. area
