I am the DJ (really!)
Howdy everyone! I hadn't planned on being offline so much lately, but I could really use help in getting information out about a party on Saturday night, for which I'm the DJ. :-) [I am making the assumption that everyone who reads my LJ already knows that I DJ often (as in frequently).]
If you could please send the info along to people who might be interested, I'd appreciate it.
I am the DJ for the Codepink party on Saturday evening, September 15th. We had great fun at the previous Codepink Parties, so we are doing it again.
Good music (you don't have to dance), good people, and fun hanging out after the protest earlier in the day.
Location: In Washington, DC at The Gallery at Eastern Market (right next to Eastern Market - which is being rebuilt after the fire in the spring)
Entrance to the Gallery at 7th & North Carolina SE
Easily accessible from the Eastern Market Metro Station. Street parking also available.
Time: 8:30 to Midnight
Cost: $5 suggested donation, but no one turned away

10:30am - Women's Convergence at Freedom Plaza (Pennsylvania Ave between 13th & 14th NW), co-sponsored by CODEPINK (women and men welcome!)
12pm - Mass March on Washington, gather at the White House, march to the Capitol
