one batch down....
Woo-hoo!
The grades for one class are done! Entered into the college's computer and everything! And the deadline is tomorrow afternoon, so I am done EARLY!!!!!!!!
However, the grades for the other big class will take some time. I believe those grades aren't due until Tuesday a.m., (need to confirm that, hmm). The joys of an adjunct's life - where I am? Different deadlines at all schools.
For the yet to be graded class, it seems like 75% of the class did at least one of the two extra credit assignments and some people did both.
So, for that class I have to grade:
Tests (essay questions are the hardest to grade)
1/2 of the big movie papers (anthropological analysis of Native American culture in a movie - very cool assignment if I do say so myself - but I created it, so I am rather biased). I did the other 1/2 of the papers last week.
A ton (nearly!) of extra credit assignments.
Whew!
That is not counting the work I have to do tonight for the Smithsonian (so stuff can get recorded on Thursday) or for Archaeology (so stuff can get printed tomorrow) or for....
I just want to put my feet up and watch The Daily Show, Colbert, etc. I am several weeks behind on Rescue Me (because Denis Leary is a god) and several months behind on 24 (because I love a good train wreck).
Oh well. At least those things will wait.
Reaper, however, must be watched tomorrow as it is one of my favorites of all time and I can delay gratification for a lot of things, but not for very long for Reaper.
