Peace Has Been Declared!!

There is celebration in the streets hall as the Feline Freedom Party and the Canine Allience announced an end to the civil war. The Feline Party representative was sitting next to the UN on the Couch, when President Digby asked to be allowed up. Captain Bellamy permitted the request, and spent the rest of the night asleep next to the President. When the UN retired to Geneva bed, the Captain and the President remained on the couch in peaceful comfort, despite both waking up. President Digby got up during the night to visit the UN, then returned to the couch, and when the UN returned to the Living Room recently, both parties were once more curled up back to back sleeping contentedly. The President is still partly dozing, but the Captain is awake and playing with the Captain's tail without protest, and Vice President Nutmeg is curled up on the other side of the UN, watching with sleepy amusment.

We are sure that the Feline Freedom Party will continue to loudly voice its opinion on certain matters, but the UN is happy to announce:

Peace In Our Living Room.
