Captain Bellamy Flynn has an alternate persona - Kit n'Bwana, Great White Hunter. In the past, this has meant grasshoppers (the crunchy treat you can play with... all over the living room), cockroaches, yarn and vicious sultanas. And, sadly, birds (although I have always suspected they were given to him by the neighbour's grey cat.)
Yesterday he caught his second ever mouse. After much praise and a roast chicken reward, he's been making sure we can see him stake out the stove, the pantry, the closed door. Ostentatiously hinting there should be more chicken reward? Surely not!
