updates with the yay!
So, notable things happened in the last week or two...
Jay and I found a place to live! We signed the lease for the main floor and basement of a house about a week ago. The place (for those in Toronto) is a block north of Pape station, in the Pape and Danforth area. It's a 1 bedroom with a solarium. Pictures will show up after we move in mid-August :D
We're very excited and happy...
So.. yeah. Plus, as a bonus, this weekend is Toronto Trek 21 Polaris 21, and next Friday, the 13th, is my Birthday, and we're heading up to the Cottage for the weekend... so yays all around..
oh! I forgot, I also paid tuition for school, so I guess I'll be a student in September. I get to register for classes in about 2 weeks.... so, things are progressing!
Double oh! Also forgot. I noticed today, that with a fun bonus (due to extreme overtime recently), this past pay cheque and the next two.... By the middle of July (i.e. the next time I'm paid), I'll have paid down all the debt that I planned to get rid of this past year!! (Which isn't to say I'll be debt free, since I still have some, thanks to the aforementioned tuition, plus a little bit more but that's all on a line of credit and will be paid down over the next year/summer, and it's manageable) ....
So... happy and yay and all that jazz :D
