I have finally purchased a teevee of great magnitude. 'Tis the Philips 32PT830H, a spectacle of graphics and sound. DDR was played, Halo 2 will be awesome to the extreme in just a few short weeks. In that time, I shall purchase some PS2/Gamecube/XBox component cables for 1080i/480p love, and according to sources, the day after Thanksgiving, there is to be a grand sale at the BX, the likes of which I have not dared to dream. A Bose sound system may have to be purchased, if I have not already spent all my money on pre-ordering Halo 2, Half-Life 2, Metroid Prime 2: Echoes, Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater...and then there's that laptop I want to get :(
Yeah, I'm definitely going to be busy, and if I didn't have to go visit my brother who is graduating from Marine Corps boot camp like the same fucking day MGS3 comes out, I would just take leave that whole week and play games. It's what I'll be doing instead of visiting familiy for Thanksgiving, that's for sure. I might visit friends of mine in Portland, but other than that, I'll probably not be going too much deeper into Oregon. Unless it is to Corvallis, to take back my
Red vs Blue DVDs. But not for long.
As for work, retirees seem to disappear or flock south for the winter. Many of them asking for an extra refill or two, saying they're going to Arizona or some such environment, which is just fine with me. Work's been pretty slow, and if I had my
CDCs, I'd be studying those. At least without them, I have all this extra free time to cherish. See aforementioned paragraph.
Also at work, my supervisor has been less of a bitch lately. At least, not to me. Plenty bitchy to this one student who's only here for one more week, just not to her face. Maybe I'm doing good, not being late for shit, and instead being 5-10 minutes early? And also getting my work done? I was only late twice (which is enough, sigh), but the rest of the time I was a model pharmacy technician. I dunno.
There was other stuff I wanted to write, I think, but I can't remember any of that now. I have a teevee, and if only for this weekend, I am happy.
