Math and things.
I had an interesting discussion with Jaime, Keith, Jenna, and Ronan last night before vampire on the subject of Dyson Spheres.
Now, because i am waiting for a plumber to come and there's no one around and I have nothing better to do, i decided to do some math and make a few comparisons.
Dyson Sphere Area: 2.9 x 10^20 km^2
Dyson Sphere Volume: 1.4137 x 10^61 km^3
Area of the Sun: 2.44 x 10^11 km^2
Volume of the Sun: 1.412 x 10^26 km^3
Area of the Earth: 1.5 x 10^8 km^2
Volume of Earth: 1.0832 x 10^18 km^3
As we can see, the thing.. it's like.. unfathomable...it's insane...
Anyway, this concludes my entry.
