Anthony, now double-0 status
Okay, I'm back. Lately I've just been avoiding.. computers and the intenrets. (/in-ten-rets/) I dunno why. I just haven't wanted to be here. Especially lj, every time I got on I was like "eh.. I'm behind on there." kinda like a kid avoiding looking at his grade because he hasn't kept up lately.
k, so since we last talked:
Yes, I got my Rhodes keyboard (pics formerly featured on meh myspace) I'm sure you've taken a peek. Its very awesome. I got it at an awesome price and it's in great condition and all the parts are there. I did have to pop the harp back in place when I arrived because it got knocked loose during shipping I guess.
I remember the day my mother called me on the phone and was like "Theres a package here for you. And its heavy." I was like "Yes!" ironically my oversized feet recieved their shoes from Fex-Ed but on different trucks. I did however have to replace all the rubber grommits across the board holding the tone-bars in place. after about 25-30 years they had all either deteriorated or were rock solid. Depriving me of sweet sustain, tone, as well as a noticable feel in the way it plays.
Switchfoot concerto - was a very good concerto IMHO. We got there an hour before the doors opened and we were out of the gate and a little bit down the street in front of the building. It was quite the amusing. The band that opened was Moses Mayfield. Personally I think Moses Mayhem was a better name, but what can you do? Switchfoot is truely a band of awesomeness. Personally they're very inviting and friendly, and I think that is what makes them a very populus band.
Years ago back when I was in Jr. High I saved up all my money (and got about $100 put together) and went to a place across from Music and More. (Okay its a pwn shop) I'm just embarassed to say it. It was there that I first purchased my... first (redundant) guitar. I didn't know alot about guitars then but I picked out a red Samick. Its a very generic of a guitar. You know what a stratocaster looks like? Yes, pretty much that only it has the whole rosewood fretboard and a black headstock on. Well should I say - it used to be red. I <3 working at a music store. Nathan has some refretting tools and tomorrow were going to completely do a refret of the entire neck. I'm awesomely very excited. Most of you don't know those, but refretting a guitar is a very big task to taken on by standards. Its usually very expensive and professionals do it (yes! That means I'm a professional!) I stripped and sanded all the paint off of the body on Thursday and got it uber smooth and clean and then today I started priming it. For the repainting of it I'm going to do an orange body (picture sunkist) with a cream OR white pickguard. I haven't reallyed decided yet and input/output is appreciated. And then I'll make the pickups, knobs, and switch a corresponding orange.
Oh yeah, and New pickups obviously. All Dimarzio's

I've also decided to say adios to my laptop. Me and Paul set it up for sale on eBay earlier today. I'm going to take the moolah from the auction and buy me a Mac. Mac is a Unix based operating system just like Linux. So.. pretty much its a easier to use, prettier, Linux. (and cost money because of that) but its so beautiful. I might get a Mac mini i think. I'm not sure how I feel about these.. laptops.
Protip: We also saw the new Bond movie and me and Paul have both been big haters of Daniel Craig.. up until the movie. It is awesome and Daniel Craig kicks arse.
Also - Today I deleted meh myspce (Gasp heard around the room) Its just one of those things I had to do and I don't know why. I was with Paul and we were like "I'll do it if you do it" So I did it. It was kinda hard because I have connections on there that I didn't want to loose. Stuff like that. But you know what? Life goes on and I will survive. When I did it as soon as I hit the button I felt a sharp bit of "bleh!" but then all the sudden I felt so much better...free-er. Like a great weight had been lifted off of my shoulders. No longer do I have to report to this atrosity of a website. No longer do I have deal with the drama, and poor scripting. I am free.
Protip 2: My bro got a blue tooth link to his laptop. So we can link our phones to it and I've been cutting and splicing songs for ring tones and I can add good graphics for wallpapers and stuff. As well as extract and.. -unextract pictures.
