Box Office Report: "Jackass Number Two" launches itself to Numer 1: Those freaks alongside Johnny Knoxville have done it again, bringing Jackass Number Two to the top of the box office charts for their debut weekend. The film brought in an estimated better-than-expected $28 million, according to early studio estimates. In second place, Jet Li's Fearless was able to stay in good shape, despite the fact the film was not reviewed by critics. It's take of $10.6 million is a good thing for Jet Li's final martial arts film. Gridiron Gang fell 33% in its second weekend in rotation, grossing an additonal $9.7 million. Rounding out the Top 5 was Flyboys (with $6.0 million) and Everyone's Hero (with $4.8 million.) But wait a minute; where is All the King's Men, you may be asking. Way, waay down in seventh place with only $3.8 million. Yeah, not so good for the heavy-casted film. The top 10 appears below.

1. Jackass Number Two -- $28.0 million
2. Jet Li's Fearless -- $10.6 million
3. Gridiron Gang -- $9.7 million
4. Flyboys -- $6.0 million
5. Everyone's Hero -- $4.8 million
6. The Black Dahlia -- $4.4 million
7. All the King's Men -- $3.8 million
8. The Covenant -- $3.3 million
9. The Illusionist -- $3.27 million
10. Little Miss Sunshine --  $2.9 million

‘Grey’s’ beats ‘CSI’ in ratings battle: Round 1 commenced this past Thursday night, and it looks like we have a definitive winner. Grey’s Anatomy beat CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, for years TV’s most popular drama and leader of its own franchise. “Grey’s Anatomy” had 25.4 million viewers for its season premiere, compared to 22.6 million for “CSI” in the same 9 p.m. time slot, according to Nielsen Media Research. That’s a sharp drop from last year, when more than 29 million people tuned in to the “CSI” season premiere. It was also ABC’s best Thursday night with entertainment programming since May 2000.

Fergie reveals "London Bridge's" hidden meaning: You may have the heard the song. (Unless you live under a rock, how could you not?) I'm talking about Fergie's single "London Bridge" and the fact that "how come every time you come around, my London Bridge wanna go down?" But, what the heck is she talking about? Well, the pop singer recently announced it's all about a certain "bedroom activity"...if you get my drift. The song refers to when two women and two men have sex and form a position to make a 'bridge'. Fergie said, "Have I ever been involved in one? No I don't think I ever have actually. No, no I haven't. But I'm definitely touching on issues that aren't childlike!" I loved the fact that she had to think about whether she had ever been involved in this "activity." Really not cool, Fergs.

Rumor Mill: Is Marcia Cross expecting twins?: Pregnant Desperate Housewives star Marcia Cross and new husband Tom Mahoney are rumored to be expecting twins. The couple, who wed in June, recently announced Cross is due to give birth in April next year, just after she wraps up production on the third "Desperate Housewives" series. And while producers decide whether or not to incorporate her pregnancy into the storyline, my inside sources now report Cross is expecting two babies. I wonder if she will name them like Lynette named her twins, Porter and Preston? Maybe something like Marcia and Maria.

Until next time, Peace out!
Anthony
