My first school dance at Sunnydale high ended in a student dying. Probably shouldn't be surprised considering the things Dad has told me about this town, but it still freaked me out. Heck, it freaked Dad out when he showed up at the school to help secure the scene.
He kept asking if I was sure I was alright and did I need to talk to a shrink or see a doctor. Sera and I insisted we were fine and Dad told me to take Sera home and ask Mr. Douglas if I could stay in our old room at the Inn since he'd probably be gone all night and didn't want me home alone. Mr. Douglas had no problem with letting me stay.
I've been considering all the things I know and I know Dad wanted me to keep stuff I was told secret, but I think Sera should know. It's for her own safety, especially after what happened to Natalia. I'm just not sure how to bring it up. How do you tell someone the town they live in is on a Hellmouth and that there really are such things as demons?
