There's a fire burning bright
providing the whole city with light
before the building fell in the dead of night
might as well go in it's late
and forgive the ones you hate
cause the ones you love just said your second rate
ignore the chourus of pericing screams
just a result of heartache and broken dreams
if you hear it long enough it becomes a part of the scene
Can we repent for our sin
with holy wine, bread, and heroin
and the game of blame has begun again
and we all shall rue the day
when are teachers led us astray
and they will stay on strike until they get paid

on the dirt road next to a park
lovers lie about the future and who they are
and why they should stop after coming this far
and the ones who took the lead
are the ones who are here and will never leave
and the rest must go off on there own to greive
as they drag a heavy load
a crusifix left on the side of the road
the scene is enough to make you explode
to those who will left alive
go out on the town for one last ride
cause after you leave this place you won't survive
hold it off for another day
we can have problems to solve and bills to pay
at least it's a reaon for me to stay

Lessons taught under florecent lights
sleep overs in construction sites
to bad freinds must have reasons to fight
at what time was it not wrong
to kill my brother for what he hasn't even done
