Interlude

I am bored.

I am sitting in the computer lab, doing not-very-much. This is because I have not yet been registered for the ECDL course by Mr Richards and thus cannot acually take any of the tests; so I am going on eljay, fiddling around with Word and feeling bored. I have discovered the 'track changes' function on Word, which looks like it will be rather useful; but other than that, I am bored.

I could get on with the History questions that need to be done for after lunch; but if I am simply working on the PC then Mr Richards won't notice that I'm not doing ECDL stuff. Or read a book, or something, I suppose.

Speaking of books, I have mini reveiws of about four or so books on the PC at home. Which is highly irritating, as theyare not here, and I can't be bothered to write them out again, as I am lazy. Nyah. So I shall do a recap of three rather nice days.

On Wednesday, Helen and I went to the circus. It was really rather good. And it was a circus. (Even if it wasn't actually in a tent.) And we had ice creams. And I wore a cloak, and Helen had fun swooshing in it, because it is criminal to wear an item of clothing such as that and not swoosh. And I also had far too much fun when I got home, because I arrived about twenty seconds before my mother pulled up, and had been listening to the messages in the dark; so I stood to one side of the door in the little nook by the cupboard-under-the-stairs, wearing a big black cloak and standing very, very still. It took her at least thirty seconds to notice that I was there, and when she did, she jumped back about half a foot and made a startled squeaking sound.

Thursday and Friday shall wait for later; because it's now time to go to lunch. Am hungry.

playing catchup, ecdl, surreptitious posting, circus!, helen, cloaks
