My soul in flux
I was going to talk about the fact that I have somehow managed to lose the lid to my USB pen (which is blue and needs a name, unless I call it Curdle) despite the fact that I hadn't taken it anywhere, but then I found it next to the hub, so that's that.
Helen and I went babysitting for the Cool Babysittees (well, they're not traditionally cool - they're just kind of geeky, and have known my parents forever - Roger was their best man, etc - and have far too many insane clocks in their kitchen, and provide malteser cake and let my girlfriend come with me when I babysit - but they're cool) which was fun. We watched the Dr. Who Christmas special and got Harry to bed, and then worked out how to do the DVD again (which involved much footling about with cables and things, because their TV is so old that they have to rig it up with a SCART into the video player) and watched most of a film, and life is good. :)
It occurs to me that this is the first update this year without a books tag. How interesting.
And now I have to go. Addieu.
