Rambly, for some reason. Oh well...anthon1July 9 2005, 14:42:54 UTC
No, I wasn't - I was helping pack away all the stuff back at the tent, entering data, giggling hysterically with Claire and accumilating t-shirts like nobodies business. I did go and buy chips and a veggie burger for two people who'd been there and had come back, absolutely starving, from watching someone they knew (a patient of Maggie's, who was very good, very young, and won herself a couple of medals in the gymnastics) after all the lunchbags had been sorted out...
Bloody good chips, actually...
After that I was either waling through Glasgow, visiting Mother India or 'slumming in the hotel' (haha).
And yes, I'm an Anthony at the end of all things. not a Tony (except to people who think it's a fun way to get a cheap rise out of me at school, curse their scaly hides) and very rarely an Ant (it's mainly Sarah - an aunt - and Granny who call me that). The majority of laypeople at school tend to call me by my surname ('because it's shorter that Anthony, isn't it?') but most of my friends tend to variate between Anthony and Anto, depending on circumstance, age, and personal preference. One of my friends has a habit of calling me Antoinette that so far I've been unable to dissuade her of,but lets not talk abuot that, shall we?
But yes, I'm an Anthony. Guilty as charged. There are numerous interesting stories around my name and quite why I have it, in actual fact, but the one thing I can promise is that is doesn't have anything to do with Anthony St.Algernon Blair.

I was indeed... my dad and brother wanted to go watch the basketball, and made me and my sister tag along. Except we got there late. And it was sort of boring. So I watched the gymnastics for a while, then remembered you were supposed to be somewhere, so went around having the following conversation with several different people:
Me: Hi, excuse me, um... do you know if there's someone called Anthony helping out today? Person: I...don't know... what's his last name? Me: ...I don't actually know... Person: ...

I didn't get the name of anyone I asked... I just sort of went up to random people who looked like they were helpers or whatever. Oh well.
I didn't have my mobile yesterday, though. In fact, it's been off since Thursday night or so, when it ran out of power. Because my dad stole my charger on Wednesday morning. And I have no idea where it is. o__O

My phone is fairly old, and fairly basic, and so intuitive that I only just managed to work out how to veiw the call records. :p It does, however, have an extraordinary battery-life, which means that as I rarely use it, it doesn't get charged forever...

But, um, yeah...
Were you there, then? :D
And also, and more generally - why? :D

Needless to say, it wasn't very productive.

Although Shreya speaks so fast you'd have to ask her twice... :P
I knew I should have gone digging for your mobile number in your journal...
