I'm a ph.d candidate at the poorest of all the 38 universities in Australia. They are, therefore, very tight with the cash.

Depending how you pitch it you might be able to try AGDA (Australian Game Development Association) or other bodies like that. I dunno why I thought of it but it's an interesting idea.

Oh that's why I thought of it, they are just down the hall from my new workplace.
