Earlier this week I had the very great pleasure of welcoming
katriona_s to Glasgow :D We only had one day together but I think we made the most of it! We had a very leisurely day bimbling round the city, taking in George Square, the City Chambers, Glasgow School of Art, the Willow Tea Rooms, Glasgow University, the Hunterian Museum and Kelvingrove Art Gallery. Along the way we stopped off to say hello to General Sir John Moore, Robert Louis Stevenson and the Duke of Wellington. When we passed Old Wellyboot in the morning we were most disappointed that he wasn't wearing his traditional traffic cone :( but when we walked back through the centre in the evening we were delighted to see he was appropriately adorned again :) I love being a tour guide in my own city, it's easy to forget what stunning architecture Glasgow has.
I hope you enjoyed the rest of your trip my dear, and thank you so much for taking the time to come and visit Glasgow!
