Yes? No? Maybe?
I've quite deliberately kept referendum politics off LJ, though I'm far from an impartial observer. There's so much I could say, but here is not the place. Suffice to say I was ten at the time of the last referendum and my daughter is eight now. I vividly remember the aftermath of the 1979 vote and the economic depression and disenfranchisement that were Scotland's lot throughout the Thatcherite years. I hope it will be different this time. What ever decision we wake up to on Friday morning I hope that we can all look ahead to a brighter future.
