I am a waste of life
I remember the days when I would dread the end of winter vacation, Now? I am bored out of my mind and can't wait until school starts again...on January 17. I'm trying to keep myself busy though. I ordered books on teaching english and classroom discipline and am reading through those taking notes of things i like or may use. I recently took up knitting...I began my first project today (practice pieces don't count). I would also like to lose a few pounds...so I'm trying the Special K 2 week diet to jump start everything, get me in the right frame of mind. Aside from that I spend my days playing fetch with the cats and taking naps....how sad.
I'm reading alot of entries written by new teachers so I can be at least a little prepared for when I start. I hear some absolute horror stories...but also constant reassurance that it gets better. Ugh...I'm certainly anxious...but I think I will love teaching when I start in next fall semester.
